The best part about the Bharat Mobility Show is that it’s now competing on the global stage with prestigious events like the Detroit Motor Show and the Shanghai Auto Show.

There was a time when India struggled to produce world-class engines and platforms. Today, however, the landscape has completely changed. India is now developing in-house platforms like the Mahindra Inglo, and cars like the BE 6, which come equipped with features that are typically found in top-tier premium cars. The Indian automotive sector is booming, and a lot of the credit for this transformation goes to the Honourable Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari Ji, whose efforts have significantly shaped and advanced the industry.

Let’s talk about some amazing cars to look for at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025.

1. Eva by Vayve Mobility

The Eva is a unique 3-wheeled electric vehicle designed by Vayve Mobility, featuring two front wheels and one at the back. It’s tailored for single-child parents or a small urban family of two adults and one kid. With a solar roof, it brings sustainable travel into focus, offering a range of 250 km and a top speed of 70 km/h. Ideal for short-distance commutes and navigating urban spaces, the Eva is a practical solution for families traveling within close proximity, combining eco-friendliness with convenience.

2. X-Van Gear by Toyota

The Toyota X-Van Gear Concept is a forward-thinking minivan that merges the spaciousness of a traditional van with the rugged aesthetics of an SUV. One of the standout design elements is the pillar-less structure, achieved by eliminating the B-pillar. This allows for a wide-opening door facilitated by sliding rear doors and front gliding doors that open on swing arms, enhancing ease of access and loading. X-Van Gear measures approximately 4,695 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width, and 1,855 mm in height, making it comparable in size to Toyota's existing Noah and Voxy models.

3. MG Cyberster

MG Cyberster is an electric roadster that fuses classic convertible charm with futuristic technology. With its sleek design, powerful performance, and advanced features like a driver-centric cockpit and impressive range, the Cyberster showcases MG's bold step into the electric sports car segment.

4. Hyundai Staria

The Hyundai Staria, a premium multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), was first unveiled globally via a digital premiere in 2021. At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Hyundai showcased the Staria in India for the first time. This MPV shares its underpinnings with the Kia Carnival, as both are based on the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform. The Staria is available in various seating configurations, accommodating up to 11 passengers, and features amenities such as a 10.25-inch infotainment system, ventilated seats, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.

5. Urban BEV by Toyota

Toyota unveiled the Urban BEV Concept, a compact electric vehicle designed for urban environments. It shares the platform with Suzuki eVitara. It offers two battery options: a 49 kWh battery delivering 106 kW (144 DIN hp) exclusively in front-wheel drive (FWD), and a 61 kWh battery providing 128 kW (174 DIN hp) in FWD or 135 kW (184 DIN hp) in all-wheel drive (AWD). The AWD variant also boasts a torque of 300 Nm, enhancing its performance.

6. Hilux Travo by Toyota

The Toyota Hilux Travo made its Indian debut at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025. This updated version of the globally renowned Hilux pickup truck brings fresh styling and features aimed at enhancing its appeal in the premium pickup segment. The Hilux Travo was first revealed in Thailand, showcasing a sleeker, more modern design with sharper headlights, a bold honeycomb grille, and redesigned taillights reminiscent of the Tundra.

7. BYD Yangwang U8

The BYD Yangwang U8 was first showcased at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show and later made its debut at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025. One of the standout features of this SUV is its 360-degree rotating wheels, which can turn sideways, allowing the vehicle to move in tight spaces with ease, a feature that grabbed significant attention.

While the U8 is packed with futuristic features, its design closely resembles that of the Land Rover Defender, with its boxy and rugged aesthetic, which some critics have pointed out as a strong influence from the Defender's signature look.
