Volkswagen is set to disrupt the electric vehicle (EV) market with its latest offering—the ID. EVERY1. This entry-level electric car is expected to be Europe’s most affordable EV, priced at €20,000 (approximately ₹18 lakh in India). It aims to bring electric mobility to a wider audience without breaking the bank. The vehicle is part of Volkswagen’s strategy to make sustainable driving accessible, with a planned 2027 launch.

Volkswagen ID. EVERY1 – An Entry-Level EV

Currently in its concept stage, the Volkswagen ID. EVERY1 is designed to be a no-frills electric vehicle for everyday use. It features a 70 kW (95 PS) electric motor with a top speed of 130 km/h, making it suitable for city driving and short highway trips.

The expected range is around 300 km (186 miles) on a full charge, which is modest compared to premium electric vehicles but reasonable for its price segment. The car is built on Volkswagen’s second-generation MEB platform, ensuring efficiency and affordability.
